145th Birth anniversary of Rao Sahip M.srinivasa Rao
The Stenographers' Guild, T. Nagar paid rich tributes to the inventor of Tamil Shorthand M.Srinivasa Rao on the occasion of his 145th birth anniversary on April 7. Former Director General of police P. Rajendran unveiled a portrait of the inventor. S.V. Ramaswamy, President of the Guild informed that, Guild would offer free Tamil Shorthand to 145 students as a tribute to the inventor. FR. Jegath Gasper Raj of Tamil Maiyam, offered to help those who wanted toi learn Tamil Shorthand with scholarship and other assistance. Corporation of Chennai Councilor for Ward-127 J. Karaunanidhi distributed free Tamil shorthand books to those who joined the course. M. Nagasubramanian, secretary of the Guild proposed a vote of thanks.. |
